Grade Three Ballet

Suitable for children who have achieved a Grade 2 Ballet standard.

These classes follow the IDTA Grade Three syllabus. Again, pupils have the opportunity to work towards taking their next Ballet examination or Preliminary medal award. Pupils in this class also have the opportunity to perform in various Dance Festivals, community events and performances developing their performance skills. The class is structured to include flexibility, body conditioning (including PBT) and pre-pointe work exercises to enhance and develop each child’s Ballet training as they continue to progress.

Performing Arts

Suitable for children aged 6 – 13 years of age.

Our Performing Arts classes aim to provide children with the necessary skills needed in order to be successful in life. The skills and techniques that the children learn include communication and presentation skills as well as confidence building. All classes will allow the children to develop at their own pace in a supportive and fun learning environment. Each week a different theme is explored for example ‘superheroes’ or ‘Horrible Histories.’ Classes will also involve the teaching of Musical Theatre and Dance Skills. There is also the opportunity for children to work towards Speech and Drama examinations held by the awarding body Trinity College London or the IDTA. (Participation in examinations is not compulsory).

Street Dance

Suitable for children aged 6 years and above.

Our fun and energetic popular Street Dance classes teaches children lots of moves used in Street Dance including the “cut through” and the “spin ball” (to name a few)! In this class pupils work towards community performances as well as our annual Recital and Annual summer showcase. This class is perfect for children that just want to Dance and learn new skills!
